George Fede is the founder of Applied Motion Solutions, a company he built from the ground up with a vision for delivering exceptional service and expertise in the motion control industry. Over the years, George’s leadership, technical knowledge, and unwavering commitment to both his clients and his team propelled AMS to the respected and successful company it is today.
After decades at the helm, George made the decision to retire in 2024, passing the torch to someone who had grown alongside the company. Dawn Mackerron, a dedicated and highly skilled sales engineer who had spent years working within AMS, took over ownership of the business. Her deep understanding of the company’s values, operations, and client relationships made her the natural successor to carry George’s legacy forward while continuing to innovate and expand AMS’s capabilities.
